Not everything Carol makes hangs from your ears. These are the larger works: pressed gardens in wooden frames, bouquets sealed between panes of glass, flowers inside furniture. Each starts with a conversation. Tell us the format, the size, and the feeling you’re after, and Carol sends design proposals before anything is made.

Cuadro Botánico
Framed botanical composition
A composition of pressed flowers arranged by hand and framed, the way a meadow grows rather than the way a catalog wants it. Made up to 50×70 cm.

Entre Cristales
Pressed flowers between glass
Flowers pressed and sealed between two panes of glass in a pine wood frame, so light passes through the petals. Hang it where the sun crosses the room.

Mesa de Resina
Resin table
The biggest thing Carol makes: a table with real flowers encapsulated inside, poured in many layers and polished by hand at the edges. She has built one from a bride’s white orchid bouquet. It’s heavy, in the way an heirloom should be.
